> A22 / E45 Bolzano Sud exit on motorway towards Merano – SS 38/40 in the direction of Reschenpass to Glorenza – S.S. 41 in the direction of Tubre / Taufers – Dogana Svizzera – Pass dal Fuorn – Tunnel Munt La Schera – Dogana Italiana Passo del Gallo – Livigno

Roads only open during the summer:
> S.S. 36 for Lecco – continue until Colico S.S. 38 Sondrio, Tirano – go into Switzerland – Poschiavo Forcola – Livigno.
> S.S. 36 for Lecco – continue to Colico Chiavenna S.S. 37 – go into Switzerland – Passo Maloja – St. Moritz – Passo Bernina – Passo Forcola Livigno.

Before departing, it is always recommended to inquire about opening hours and viability of the Alpine passes and the Tunnel Munt La Schera. Don’t forget you must always carry a valid document for travel abroad!

Good to know

1- FOSCAGNO PASS (2,291 m): Open all year round, (24 hours/day). From October to April all vehicles must have chains on board.
2 – FORCOLA PASS (2,315 m): Open only in summer, (24 hours/day) In autumn access may be limited
3 – “MUNT LA SCHERA” TUNNEL (3.5 km): Open all year (24 hours/day). Toll road with alternating one-way access (max height: 3.6 m – max width: 2.5 m). In winter, Saturday opening hours may be subject to change, For further info: Tunnel Munt la Schera
4 – VEREINA TUNNEL: Railway tunnel with vehicle transportation operating on the stretch between Klosters/Sagliains
